All certified CRMAs and residential care supervisors/administrators are responsible for understanding
the Maine Ch. 113 workplace regulations
The CRMA role, workplace rules and regulations, how to find med information, infection control, vital signs
Basic pharmacology-classifications, medical abbreviations and metric measurements
medication administration and documentation, the PHT 3-step cycle
Drugs.com is a professional online resource for information about medications. "Look it up!" should be your first step to take responsibility for safe medication administration, before contacting the supervisor, pharmacist or prescriber
The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) enforces drug laws in the U.S. for public safety and categorizes meds according to their potential for abuse or addiction.
Print the skills checklist below to complete the required med pass demo (please give at least 5-6 meds) with actual residents in a facility.
Email the completed skills checklist, along with a separate copy of your RN or CRMA evaluator license/certificate, in PDF format to info@prohealthtrain.com
New certificates should appear on the certificate look-up link above within 3-5 business days. It is the student's responsibility to verify the new certificate is available.
